Noi Bai Airport Buses 86, 90, 17 and 109: Where Each Route Ends, as Listed by the Airport
About 5 minutes to read
Noi Bai Airport’s own transport page lists several public bus routes. This guide covers four of them: 86, 90, 17 and 109. For each one it gives an end point, a fare and a “Departs at” window, and nothing more. That is enough to see where each route finishes and what the airport says it costs. It is not enough to say which bus stops closest to a particular hotel, and the page itself says nothing more. It sets out what the page lists, where it falls short and what to settle before leaving the terminal.
The page shows no date. It mentions taxi fares applying from 1 March 2025, so it was edited in 2025 or later. Everything below reflects the page as read on 24 October 2026. Fares and timetables change, so confirm them on board or with the operator.
The four routes as the airport lists them
| Route | Ends at | Fare listed per trip | “Departs at” window |
|---|---|---|---|
| 90 | Kim Ma | 15,000 VND | 5h00 to 22h30 |
| 17 | Long Bien | 15,000 VND | 5h10 to 22h00 |
| 109 | My Dinh | 12,000 VND | 5h00 to 22h00 |
| 86 | Hanoi Railway Station | 50,000 VND | 7h00 to 22h15 |
Route 86 is the only one of the four listed as ending at the railway station, and its listed fare is the highest of the group. Routes 90 and 17 share a listed fare, and route 109 is listed slightly lower.
These are the airport’s numbers, so treat them as “as listed by the airport” rather than as settled prices. The airport page carries no date. The page also does not explain what the departure window refers to, so it is unclear whether “5h00 to 22h30” means the first and last departure from the terminal, from the far end of the route, or something else. No stop lists, frequencies or journey times are given for these four routes. The airport lists route 90 as ending at Kim Ma. Because the page is undated, treat every end point here as the airport’s listing rather than a settled fact, and confirm the destination shown on the bus.
Matching an end point to your hotel area
An end point is a name on a list, not a stop outside a hotel. A route may call at other stops on the way, but the airport page does not list them, so no route can be called the closest for a given address. A workable approach is to treat the end points as a first filter and then verify:
- Note the hotel’s full address from the booking confirmation.
- Look up that address on a map app and compare it with the four end points: Kim Ma (route 90), Long Bien (route 17), My Dinh (route 109) and Hanoi Railway Station (route 86).
- Ask the hotel which stop it would suggest, then confirm with the bus staff when boarding that the bus calls at the stop you need.
A hotel that sits near an end point is simply easier to match than one that lies somewhere along the way, where only the bus staff can say whether a stop exists.
Other options on the same airport page
The four routes are not the whole list. The same page shows several more services:
| Service | What the airport lists |
|---|---|
| Route 07 | Noi Bai to Cau Giay, 12,000 VND per trip, departs 5h00 to 10h30 (a much shorter window than the others, so confirm it) |
| Route 68 | Noi Bai to Ha Dong, 55,000 VND per trip, departs 7h00 to 22h05 |
| Route E10 | Noi Bai to Ocean Park, 20,000 VND per trip, departs 6h20 to 22h00 |
| NB01 and NB02 | Listed under the Hai Van International Transport Joint Venture with a 90,000 VND ticket price; NB01 runs Noi Bai Airport to Ring Road 2 and back, NB02 runs Noi Bai Airport to urban areas and back, each every 45 minutes |
The page also lists a mini bus service for all flights, including weekends and holidays, located on the first floor of Terminal 1 (listed as hall A E) and on the first floor of Terminal 2 (East End and West End). The page text gives no fare for it. Airport taxis are described as running from the first flight to the final flight of the day, including weekends, holidays and Tet. The page adds that taxi companies may not hold exclusive rights to carry passengers to the airport and may not wait for returning passengers in the airport car parks. Its taxi fare table, applied from 1 March 2025, is published as an image, so no figures are repeated here.
Landing and getting out
The airport’s arrival-procedure page says passengers collect their bags at the baggage claim area after clearing immigration, and that complimentary baggage carts are available near it. A separate airport page places luggage storage counters in the public area on the second floor of the East Wing in the international terminal (T2). That page gives a location but no opening hours, charges or size limits, so those would need to be checked with the airport. Nothing on the pages reviewed covers luggage rules on the buses, payment methods or journey times.

Questions to settle before you leave the terminal
- Which route are you taking, and does the destination shown on the bus match the end point the airport lists?
- What does the bus charge on board and how can it be paid? The airport page does not cover payment methods.
- Does the listed departure window cover your arrival time once bags and immigration are allowed for?
- Will the bus staff confirm a stop near the hotel, and may bags go on board?
- If the bus does not suit, where are the mini bus service and taxi services described above?
